Trial accounts

Trial accounts operate in the same way as regular RiskTree user accounts, but with certain limitations:

  • They are limited in the size of the RiskTrees that they can process, typically being restricted to about 10 nodes
  • None of the features of Plus accounts are available
  • Configuration files cannot be used to set custom risk banding
  • They usually expire after a short period of time

Since all of the nodes in a RiskTree are co-dependent, it is not possible to split a tree (or a tree file) into smaller pieces, upload it using a trial account, and then merge the resulting risk tables back together. The results of doing this will not be the same as processing the tree as a single item, and the risk assessment will not be accurate.
